Avoid Burnout Tip -Thoughts, Attitudes, and Your Health

A friend sent me a link to a really fascinating website called “LiveScience” I found an article there on the role that temperament plays in regard to human life span. That’s right – your attitudes and thoughts can affect how long you live.

Seven mental factors were identified in the article, 7 Thoughts That Are Bad For You as having a negative effect on lifespan. These were
1. STRESS
2. Gloom & Doom (listen up, Eyore types!)
3. Anxiety
4. Lack of Self-control
5. Fretting
6. Lack of Meaning
7. Cynacism

Of course, the article does not discuss counteracting any of those…I suppose that would require an entire book. Heh. ~Fran
